ASSEMBLE AND ATTACH ROLL-UP CONDUIT
The following instructions describe assembling the roll-up
curtain conduit and related crank handle and extension pole.
Repeat the steps for all remaining roll-up conduits. Each roll-
up curtain panel requires a roll-up conduit and crank handle.
Complete these steps to assemble and attach one (1) roll-up
conduit:
1. Locate the sections of #131S075 pipe needed to
assemble the roll-up conduit. Assemble as many pipe
sections as needed to equal or exceed the length of the
curtain panel.
NOTE:
Assembled pipe may run a few inches or as
much as a couple of feet beyond the end of the panel.
Pipe is cut to length in a later step.
2. Secure each pipe joint using a Tek screw (FA4482B) and
wrap the connection and screw with a couple of layers of
duct tape. See diagram to the right.
3. After the conduit is assembled, move it to the first roll-up
curtain and slide the conduit into the curtain pocket.
Allow a few inches to extend beyond the pocket
at the
end where the spin handle will be positioned
.
4. Take the CC6212 fabric clips and attach one every 60"
or so along the conduit using FA4482 Tek screws to
secure the conduit to the curtain. Assistance is required.
