ASSEMBLE AND ATTACH ROLL-UP CONDUIT
(continued)
5. Using the diagrams below, assemble and attach
the universal joint, extension pipe, and spin
handle.
6. Move to the other end of the curtain and trim the
conduit to the desired length.
7. Repeat steps for all remaining roll-up curtain
conduits.
8. After installing all conduits, roll each curtain to the
top and temporarily secure the curtain to the face
board using strap or rope. This step prevents the
curtains from damage and protects individuals
from injury in the event that the winds increase
during the installation of the main cover.
The straps for the main cover also serve as
the anti-billow straps for the roll-up curtain or
curtains. These are installed with the main cover.
To prevent damage and possible injury, do
not continue without first securing the roll-up
curtain panels. See the diagram below.
Attach the universal joint to the pipe
in the pocket using a Tek screw to
secure the connection.
Using the extension pipe, secure
one end of the extension pipe
to the remaining end of the
universal joint using a Tek screw.
Add the spin handle to the
extension pole and secure the
connection with a Tek screw.
