ATTACH UPPER AND LOWER FACE BOARDS
The upper and lower face boards are attached
to the roll-up side of the building. They serve
as mounting surfaces for the roll-up side panel
and the ratchets for the main cover.
These
are required.
Materials for these boards and
fasteners are supplied by the customer.
On the roll-up side of the building, attach the
upper 2" x 6" face board flush with the bottom of
the installed rafter feet as shown in Diagram A.
Attach all upper boards along the length of the
building. Continue with the lower face boards.
Beginning at one corner post, measure six foot
(6') down from the top of the post and mark the
location. Move to the other end and measure
and mark that 6' dimension on the post. Mark the
interior posts as needed or use a chalk line to
mark the dimension on those support posts.
Beginning at one end, align the
bottom edge
of
the first section of the lower 2" x 6" face board
with the mark, verify that the board is level,
and attach the board to the support posts. See
Diagram B.
Continue attaching the remaining boards until the
lower face board is completely installed.
