Complete the following steps to secure the ratchets:
1. After the end panels are installed, pull the bonnet
portion of the main cover back over the end rafter at
each end.
2. Take four (4) small ratchets (#QH1061) and attach
each ratchet to the outside of the end wall frame posts
using FAJ104B (1/4" x 2") lag bolts. See diagrams
below.
NOTE:
For the awning side of the frame, position
ratchets as needed to adequately secure the cover.
Consult these photos and diagrams for suggestions.
Actual position will depend on end wall frame and
other specifics of the construction.
3. Locate the straps at the front and rear of the main
cover and feed the straps through the center slot in
each end ratchet.
4. Tighten the end ratchets to secure the bonnet portion
of the main cover.
5. Move to the other end of the building and secure the
bonnet at that end.
6. Continue with the steps on the following page to attach
the QH1061 ratchets to secure the overlapped cover
sections (multiple main covers).

INSTALL THE END RATCHETS FOR THE
MAIN COVERS
After end panels are fully stretched, attach
the end ratchets for the bonnets of the main
covers.
Gather the parts:
• Small ratchet (#QH1061)
• FAJ104B (1/4" x 2" lag bolts)
