TIGHTEN THE SIDE AND UPPER CONDUIT RATCHETS

Conduit in
Ratchet
Thread strap
around conduit.
Thread strap ends into
ratchet and tighten.
Remove pocket
material.
Verify that the cover is in the desired position and centered on
the frame. (Loosen and reposition if needed.) To properly tighten
the main cover, tighten the awning portion last. Install the upper
conduit straps and thread into ratchets as noted below.
Continue with these steps to tighten the side ratchets and the
upper conduit ratchets.
1. Move to the upper conduit and remove a small section from
(or cut a slit in) the upper conduit pocket.
2. Take one 25' roll of 2" strap (CC5390A) and thread the strap around the conduit and back to the
ratchet.
3. Trim the length (if needed) and insert both strap ends into the ratchet drum and tighten slight to
remove slack. Do not remove too much strap!
