To check the seeding depth is consistent from the front to the rear of the seeding chassis scrape the soil
away from each seeded row and measure the depth of the seed compared to the undisturbed soil between
the seeded rows. If there is a difference between rows seeded then adjust the seeding chassis as stated above
until even seed depth is achieved.
CHECKING SEEDING DEPTHS
The depth control of the machine is controlled by the depth wheels. To obtain the desired depth alter the
three top links on the depth wheel axles. Use a tape measure to ensure all three axles are the same. Once
the correct depth is achieved it is possible to lock off the top links using the locking tab on the top thread
on the links.
