OPERATORS MANUAL -  HYBRID - M3, M4, M4R, M4.8 & M6

1.  Ensure all hydraulic hoses are connected to the tractor spool valves correctly.

2.  With the drill lifted clear of the ground, operate the spool valve to unfold the wings (hose marked

II

yellow

)

1.  Operate the tractor spool valve (hoses marked

II

yellow

) to fully fold/unfold the drill.

FOLDING THE  DRILL

Unfolding the Drill

WING BALANCING - 6M MACHINES ONLY

The Wing Balancing system spreads the weight of the chassis and
the hopper over the whole width of the drill and not just in the

centre section. In this way, it allows the wings to float and follow the

contours of the ground.

To ensure the system is working correctly the operator should
operate the tractor spool valve to lower the wings, (spool needs to
be set up so pushing the controller forward lowers the wings, the

spool must also have a float position.) once the pressure has reached

10 bar

 (

145 psi

) the operator needs to push the controller fully

forward into float to allow excess pressure to return to the tractor

in the event of the drill hitting a large obstacle and the wings raising
beyond their pre-set limit.

IMPORTANT

THE HYDRAULIC FREEFLOW SERVICE MUST BE

PLUGGED IN PRIOR TO THE DRILL BEING OPERATED.

FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE WHICH IS

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
