6.5.
Generator depressurization
The generator is not provided with a depressurization system that is accessible
by the customer. To proceed depressurize the hydrogen line.

The guided procedures suggested by the CPU only depressurize the interior of
the generator and not the outlet (which remains under pressure). To be able to
completely depressurize the generator Claind recommends using a flow shutoff
valve and a discharge valve on the generator outlet.
6.6.
Draining generator water
To drain the generator of demineralized water remove the front panel and empty
the internal tank and the reserve tank.
6.6.1.
Internal tank draining
To empty the internal tank circuit and the demineralized water circuit, a quick
coupler and a piece of PVC pipe (A) (next page) are provided.
Connect the quick coupler with the pipe (A) to the automatic joint (B) in the ge-
nerator.

Before draining, get a tank or a container to collect the drained water and place
it under the generator with the other end of the PVC pipe to let it drain comple-
tely.
