10.2 Common Problems and Probable Causes

Power supply is not
properly connected. Properly connect power supply that complies with
specifications.
Product is damaged.
Repair is necessary. Please contact CKD after confirming
Section 10.1.
Previously triggered
alarm has not been
reset.
Execute alarm reset.
There is system
malfunction Repair is necessary. Please contact CKD after confirming
Section 10.1.
There is system
malfunction due to
heat generation Temperature is not within specifications. Be careful of
high temperature. Use product within specified
temperature range.
Return-to-origin has
not been executed.
Execute return-to-origin.
Emergency stop signal
has a-contact
connection.
Rewire emergency stop (Input 6) wiring to b-contact
connection.
Wiring is wrong. Reconfirm Section 6 of this Instruction Manual.
Input signal is unstable.
Input from host system could be causing chattering.
Secure 20msec or more for input signal.
Return-to-origin
direction setting is
wrong.
Check parameter settings based on teaching pendant
instruction manual.
It does not return-to-
origin. It suspends.
Transfer load may be too big. Reconfirm specifications.
Settings of position,
speed, acceleration,
thrust force are wrong.
