electrical leakage, there is a possibility of electric shock and product malfunction.
・
Properly wire the product by referring to this Instruction Manual to ensure there are no incorrect wiring and
loose connectors. Confirm insulation of the wiring. Contact with other circuits, earth fault, and poor
insulation between terminals can cause excess current to be applied to the product, and there is a
possibility of product breakdown. Abnormal operation and fire can result from this.
・
Make sure to insulate any unused wires. Otherwise, there is a risk of product malfunction and failure, and
electric shock.
・
Do not damage, apply unreasonable stress to, place heavy objects on, or tuck the cable. Doing so may lead
to poor conduction and electric shock.
<Operation>
・
Before supplying power to the product, always confirm safety of its operating range. Carelessly supplying
power to the product may lead to electric shock and injury.
・
Immediately turn off the power if LED of the product does not flash after turning the power on.
・
Do not touch or come in contact with the product body during operation and immediately after stopping.
Doing so may result in burns.
・
Do not get on nor place objects on the product. Doing so may cause falls, product turnover, injury due to
drops, product breakdown, product malfunction from damage, loss of control, and so on.
・
Take measures that will prevent damage to human body and equipment in case of power line failure.
・
When operating the actuator from where it cannot be seen, always make sure beforehand that it is safe for
the actuator to be in motion.
・
Before setting the product by manually moving the movable parts (direct teaching), make sure that the
servomotor is turned OFF using the teaching pendant.
<Maintenance/Inspection/Repair>
・
Carry out periodic inspections (2 to 3 times a year) to ensure normal operation of the product.
・
Immediately turn off power if heat or smoke, odor, noise, vibration, etc. abnormal to the product generates.
Failure to do so may cause product breakdown and fire due to continued flow of current.
・
Always turn the power supply OFF before maintenance/inspection and repairs. Call attention of the people
around so that a third party do not carelessly turn the power on or operate the product.
<Installation>
・
When wiring, do not lay the power wire where large current or strong magnetic field is generated, nor in
common piping or in common wiring (using multi-conductor cable) with the power cable for large size motor
other than this product in order to prevent induction noise from being applied. Also be careful of inverter
power supply used in robots and of wiring section (common wiring and common piping not allowed). Provide
frame ground of same power supply, and always insert filter in the output part.
・
The product cannot be used in environments having strong magnetic field. Otherwise, it may cause product
malfunction.
・
If power supply is shared between the output part of this product and a surge generating inductive load
such as solenoid valve and relay, separate the output power supply of this product and the inductive load
outputs since surge current could enter the output part and cause damage. If power supply cannot be
separated, connect a surge absorption element directly parallel to all inductive loads.
・
This product has a built-in control board to which a varistor (having about 40V control voltage) is
connected in between the circuit and the metal body to prevent static electricity damage. For this reason,
do not perform withstand voltage test and insulation resistance test on the equipment to which this product
is installed. Otherwise, it will damage the product. If it is necessary to perform those tests on the equipment,
please do so after removing this product.
・
Please disconnect all FG (frame ground) connections from this product before performing electrical welding
to the equipment to which this product is installed. Otherwise, excessive high voltage and surge voltage
during welding and from welding current may damage the product.
