５．Installation
５．１ Confirmation of Actual Product
Please confirm that the actual product is the product (model) as per order. Also, inspect the product for
any transport damage and deformation.
※If there is anything suspicious in the descriptions, do not use the product. Please contact the place of
purchase or the dealer immediately.
５．２ Handling Precautions for Actual Product
５．２．１ Handling of Packed Product
１） Take careful note in transport handling by not applying impact such as letting the packaging drop.
２） Heavy packaging should not be carried by one person alone.
３） The product should be horizontally-placed when still standing it.
４） Never get on the packaging.
５） Do not place heavy objects that deform the packaging and objects that concentrate the load on the
packaging.
５．２．２ Handling of Unpacked Product
１） When removing the actuator from the packaging, hold the actuator body part.
２） When carrying the product, be careful not to apply impact such as letting it drop.
３） Do not exert excessive force on each part of the actuator.
５．３ Installation Environment
・ Confirm ambient temperature and atmosphere in the product specifications for product storage and
operation.
・ This product cannot be installed or used in locations where the product can come in contact with water and
oil.
※ There is a risk of short circuit or fire accident. Oil drops and oil mists are also strictly prohibited.
・
Use the product where the operating ambient temperature is 0 to 50℃. Ventilate if heat accumulates.
・
Install this product where it is not exposed to direct sunlight, dust, heat generating element and where there
are no corrosive gas, flammable gas, and inflammables. Chemical resistance has not been considered for this
product.
・
When wiring, do not lay the power wire where large current or strong magnetic field is generated, nor in
common piping or in common wiring (using multi-conductor cable) with the power cable for large size motor
other than this product in order to prevent induction noise from being applied to the product body and cable.
Also be careful of inverter power supply used in robots and of wiring section (common wiring and common
piping not allowed). Provide frame ground of same power supply, and always insert filter in the output part

Install the actuator on a flat smooth surface.
※ Installing the product on a rough surface will cause the actuator to malfunction and break down.
・
Secure the cable in place so that it does not easily move. Also, when securing the cable, do not bend the
cable at an acute angle (bending radius of 50mm or less) in order to secure it.
・
The teaching pendant is used to set the actuator. Provide a space of 70mm or more behind the motor side
of the actuator for connecting and disconnecting the teaching pendant.
