Configuring the LAN

Cisco SA 500 Series Security Appliances Administration Guide

STEP 3

Enter the IP address and the MAC address of the device that you want to add.

NOTE

Each reserved IP address should be outside the configured DHCP pool
addresses.

STEP 4

Click

Apply

to save your settings, or click

Reset

to revert to the saved settings.

DHCP Leased Clients

This page displays a list of the DHCP-assigned IP addresses and hardware
addresses of the LAN clients. Click

Networking

on the menu bar, and then click

LAN > DHCP Leased Clients

in the navigation tree.

Configuring the Optional Port as a LAN Port

If you are not planning to configure an optional WAN or a DMZ, you can configure
the Optional port for use as a LAN port.

STEP 1

Click

Networking

on the menu bar, and then click

Optional Port > Optional Port

Mode

in the navigation tree.

The Optional Port Mode page appears.

STEP 2

Choose

LAN

STEP 3

Click

Apply

to save your settings, or click

Reset

to revert to the saved settings.
