Chapter 2 Cisco ME 3800X and ME 3600X Switch Cisco IOS Commands

boot config-file

To specify the filename that Cisco IOS uses to read and write a nonvolatile copy of the system
configuration, use the

boot config-file

command in global configuration mode. To return to the default

setting, use the

form of this command.

boot config-file

file-name

no boot config-file

The default configuration file is flash:config.text.
