To display error-disable detection status, use the

show errdisable detect

command in user EXEC mode.

Command Modes

Usage Guidelines

The

Mode

column shows the shutdown mode that was configured for the error-disabled reason:

•

port—The physical port is error disabled if a violation occurs.

•

vlan—The virtual port is disabled if a violation occurs.

•

port/vlan—Some ports are configured for physical port disable, and others are configured for virtual
port disable. Enter the

show running config

privileged EXEC command to see the configuration for

each port.

A displayed

gbic-invalid

error in the

Reason

column refers to an invalid small form-factor pluggable

(SFP) interface.

Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter

| exclude output

, the lines that contain

output

are not displayed, but the lines that contain

Output

are displayed.
