To set the default system parameters for the Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) bundles, use the
lacp
system
command in global configuration mode.

Syntax Description
Unique MAC address used to identify the system in LACP negotiations.
mac
Priority for this system. Lower value is higher priority. Range is from 1 to 65535.

System priority is 32768. MAC address is automatically assigned from the backplane pool.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper task
IDs. If you suspect user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA
administrator.
The parameters are the system MAC address and the priority of the system. The MAC address must be unique
to the system (if it matches a partner system, LACP negotiations fail). The combination of the MAC address
and the set system priority determine the priority of the LACP bundles.
