ppp max-configure
To specify the maximum number of configure requests to attempt (without response) before stopping the
requests, use the
ppp max-configure
command in an appropriate configuration mode. To disable the maximum
number of configure requests and return to the default, use the
no
form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
Use the
ppp max-configure
command to specify how many times an attempt is made to establish a Link
Control Protocol (LCP) session between two peers for a particular interface. If a configure request message
receives a reply before the maximum number of configure requests are sent, further configure requests are
abandoned.
