To reset a specific node, use the
hw-module reset auto
command in administration configuration mode.
To disable the reset feature on a specific node, use the
no
form of this command.

To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
The
hw-module reset auto
command is used to reload Cisco IOS XR software on a specific node. The
node reloads with the current running configuration and active software set for that node.
