between 

the lower 

and

 

upper

 

oil

 

pans.

  

Remove

 

the

 

lower

 

oil

 

pan.

Remove

 

the

 

upper

 

oil

 

pan

 

fasteners.

  

Use

 

the

 

pry

 

points

 

to

 

break

 

the

 

RTV

 

bond.

  

Apply

 

pressure

 

on

 

the

 

front

of

 

the

 

upper

 

oil

 

pan

 

while

 

tapping

 

with

 

a

 

plastic

 

mallet

 

to

 

remove

 

the

 

assembly.

Note:

 

main

 

cap

 

side

 

bolts

 

have

 

also

 

been

 

removed

 

while
