Chapter 3 Repairs

Maintenance manual

AlveoPC

Remove the Alveograph's casing

(see op. A1-1)

Remove the RLP pressure board support

(see op. A1-2)

Disconnect from the CPU board the connector to which the air
pump wires are connected.

Lay the Alveograph on its side, leaning on its block.

Unscrew the four locking nuts on the air pump support under
the Alveo bloc (A), and extract the support from its base with-
out tautening the wires (B). retrieve and keep the washers.

Disconnect the two electrical connections from the solenoid
valve (C). They are marked 16-17 or 18-19 on the connector.

Unscrew the locking nuts on the solenoid valve under the
pump bracket (D).

Cut the cable ties and disconnect the pneumatic hoses using a
flat blade screwdriver and noting their position.

Remove the solenoid valve.

To replace the solenoid valve, perform the above operations in
reverse order with the aid of the diagram to connect the pneumatic
hoses.

Note: We recommend replacing the hoses.
