Inadequate draught
due to unsatisfactory
chimney or blockage
of Heater flue ways or
flue pipe.

Air damper on burner
improperly adjusted or
faulty nozzle or
unsatisfactory draught
conditions or fault in
oil supply.

Break all leaking joints and re-make.

Replace control stat and reset Limit thermostat.

Take necessary corrective action.

Set up burner as for commissioning using oil
pressure gauge, smoke pump, CO

indicator and

draught gauge, adjust settings as necessary,
replace nozzle if necessary. See Commissioning
Check List and Servicing Notes.
