A) Power up ventilator in

VENT

MTNCE

mode (i.e.: using the

“three finger mode

” hold down

the

Control Lock

Manual

Breath

and

Select

buttons while

powering up the ventilator) and
enter

VENT MNTCE

B) Turn on

SERVO

mode.

C) Set the step position to 0 (in the

Tidal Volume

window)

D) Measure the flow at the Patient

Outlet port of the ventilator.



Flow must be less than 1 Lpm.

Using the 3-finger technique enables a modified mode of VENT MTNCE in which testing may be performed,

but Calibration procedures and changing Configuration settings can not.
