Machine Settings

5. STAMP DOCUMENT

Sets when the documents are stamped.

DIRECT&MEMORY TX*

The documents are stamped when using the direct
sending or the memory sending.

DIRECT TX

The documents are stamped when using the direct
sending.

6. DIALING LINE CHCK

Sets whether to use the dialing line check.

ON*

Enable the dialing line check.

OFF

Disable the dialing line check.

7. ROTATE TX

Sets whether the machine rotates the image
automatically to send it horizontally, when the
document is set vertically.

ON*

Enable the automatic rotation.

OFF

Disable the automatic rotation.

3. RX SETTINGS

Sets the reception functions.

1. ECM RX

The ECM (Error Correction Mode) reception is
turned on or off.

ON*

All receptions are conducted with ECM if the other
party’s fax supports ECM.

OFF

ECM is turned off.

4. PRINTER SETTINGS

Sets the settings related to Printer functions.

1. SELECT DRAWER

Sets how the machine prints documents when
there is no paper matching the size of the received
document: SWITCH A, SWITCH B, SWITCH C,
SWITCH D

2. RECEIVE REDUCTION

Receives images at a reduced size.

ON*

Image reduction is turned on.
