Printing Received Documents

You can set the method of printing them.

Reducing a Received Document

You can set the machine to automatically reduce received documents so that the
whole document is printed within the printable area of the paper.

The following settings are available if you set the Receive Reduction to ‘ON’:

•

RX REDUCTION:

You can select to reduce the document automatically or
set a preset reduction ratio, as follows.

- AUTO SELECTION:

The image is automatically reduced by a suitable
reduction ratio.

- FIXED REDUCTION: You can select a preset reduction ratio (97%, 95%, 90%*,

or 75%).

•

REDUCE DIRECTION: You can select the direction to reduce the document, as

follows.

- VERTICAL ONLY:

The image is reduced in the vertical direction only.

- HORIZ & VERTICAL: The image is reduced in both the vertical and horizontal

directions.

NOTE

The default settings are:
- Receive Reduction: ‘ON’
- RX Reduction:

‘Auto’

- Reduce%:

‘90%’

- Reduce Direction:

‘Vertical Only’
