2) Remove the two screws [1] on the back side.

3) Open the operation panel. As you disengage the claw [1], remove the left
cover [2].

1) Open the front cover [1], and remove the two screws [2] on the front side.

2) Remove the two screws [1] on the back side.

3) Open the operation panel. As you disengage the claw [1], remove the left
cover [2].

3.1.5.4 Removing the Operation Unit

1) Disengage the two claws [1] and remove the rear cover from the operation
panel [2].

2) Slightly open the operation panel unit [1], and detach the strap [2].
3) Open the operation panel unit, and remove the two screws [3]. Care should
be taken when removing the screws so that the operation unit does not fall
down from the upper document guide.

4) Remove the operation unit [1] from the upper document guide [2].
5) Remove the connector [3] and flat cable [4], and detach the operation unit.
