TERMINATING THE DOWNRIGGER CABLE
t. With the End of the Line sticking out the final
hole by the Bottom Hook, hold the Terminator and
squeeze the Line in the middle track to hold it in
place. While keeping the end of the Line in place,
pull the Line wound through the Terminator in the
opposite direction, so that the slack is pulled tight.
Use a pliers if necessary to get the Line tight.
u. With the Line tight, close the Cover of the
Terminator so that the Clip in the middle of the
top cover captures the Line. Use a Pliers to close
the Terminator if necessary. With the Terminator
closed, Slide the Cushion Sleeve Terminator
securely over the Terminator until it is seated
against it. Once fully seated, the downrigger is
successfully terminated. A Cannon Weight can
then be attached directly to the Snap Swivel.

Do not overload the downrigger. It is designed to retrieve a
maximum of 20 lb. weights only.
