The Environmental Ethernet Cable Assembly (CCFCCBL3-L) has an environmental connector that
provides a weatherproof connection with the camera. The other end of the cable is a standard
RJ45 connector that connects to a local network, router, cellular modem, or laptop.

Details of the Environmental Ethernet Cable are:

l

CAT5E Shielded cable with polyurethane jacket

l

IP68 environmentally rated RJ45 connector on one end and a rugged metal RJ45
connector on the other end

l

Maximum recommended cable length of 70 m (230 feet)

NOTE:
Cameras with serial number 1276 and older use the CCFCCBL2-L Environmental Ethernet
Cable. Cameras with serial number 1277 and newer use the CCFCCBL3-L Environmental
Ethernet Cable.

NOTE:
Ensure the protective dust cap is reengaged when the Ethernet cable is not in use to ensure
the camera remains protected from the elements.

When shipped, the CCFC factory default setting is with the communication lines configured for
the RS-232 or RS-485 depending on the model specified at time or order. The following table
