camera switches the input power
voltage to this line.
For solar powered sites the camera can

External Trigger
(Input)
Connect to external signal source
(data logger control terminal). The
external signal wakes up or initiates
photo/video acquisition. On a
Campbell Scientific data logger,
connect to a 5 V (5V) or switched 12 V
(SW12V) terminal and be sure to
provide a ground.
Another device can also help keep the
camera in the Fully On power mode by
leaving the External Trigger Input
activated.
