Absolute reference
By selecting the "Absolute" setting you are setting the X-axis reference of the measurement curve to the
zero point of the currently connected sensor.
You can choose the "Absolute" reference option when you are able to position both parts involved in a
joining process with repeat precision, i.e. the workpiece support always positions the workpiece at the
same height, and the two parts to be joined (A+B) themselves have negligible tolerances in the insertion
direction. In addition, part A must always start in the same position with respect to part B.
