5.
Remove the top plate and front Z cover. If tape seals are present, slide the top plate
laterally after removing screws from the top plate and front cover to release the
tension on the tape seals and allow the front cover to be removed. It is not necessary
to remove the tape seal tension brackets from the top of the Z carriage.
6.
Support the Z carriage and links with a stick, boxes, or other means to prevent it
from dropping when the belt clamp is removed.
7.
For the 500mm Z travel robot, remove the 48VDC power supply.
8.
Remove the Z belt clamp which should be accessible through the access cutout in
the Z extrusion, change the Z belt, and replace the clamp.
9.
Tension the Z belt per above.

Replace parts.
9.
Recalibrate robot.

DANGER:
Before tensioning the timing belts, the AC power should be
disconnected. Removing the front cover allows access to the AC power
terminals.
