ANAGEMENT

Remote management of a RAIDCore storage system can be set up using the RAIDConsole 

Setup Remote

Management 

command. A remote system can then be added using the 

Add Remote System

 command. 

To set up remote management on a RAIDCore storage system:

1.

From the 

Options

 menu, select 

Setup Remote Management

.

2.

Select a port number through which the remote access will log on. The default port number is 9090.

3.

Click the 

Enable Remote Management

 option.

4.

Establish authorization for incoming connects by specifying the user name and password to be used.

5.

Confirm the password by typing it again in the 

Confirm:

 field. 

6.

Click 

OK

.
