10.4
Determining the drive power
10.4.1
General
To size the power supply module or the mains rating, you must determine the
rated (continuous) and maximum power of the rotary drive.
Take the corresponding simultaneity factor into account when de‐
termine the total power of several drives that are connected to a
single power supply module.
10.4.2
Continuous power
The continuous power corresponds to the sum of the mechanical and electri‐
cal motor power.
