Metal Conduit

Feed the wires through the conduit.

Feed all wires from the metal junction box through the arm.

Attach the mounting cap to the arm.

Fit the arm to a metal single-gang junction box.

Figure 5.2: Fit to Gang Junction Box

Secure with the appropriate user-provided SEMS screws that have an integral lock
washer to dig through the paint and ensure an electrical ground connection to the arm
housing or ground lug.

Notice!
The metal junction box and mounting surface must be capable of supporting a maximum load
of 11.33 kg (25 pounds).
