TRACK BAND

IMPORTANT

If a large number of bands need replacement,
the entire track should be removed from the
machine. See DRIVE TRACK ASSEMBLY for
track removal procedures. Change only one
side at a time so that the opposite track may be
used to move the machine.

REMOVAL

IMPORTANT

Outside track bands may be replaced on the
machine. Inside track bands are most easily
replaced by removing the track from the ma-
chine.

Step 1:
Release track tension.

a. Loosen track tension bleeder screw (1) until all

tension is released.

b. Tighten bleeder screw.

Step 2:
Remove track guides to give access to the track
bands.

a. Remove track guide nuts (1).
b. Lift guides (2) off of tracks.

WARNING

Do not cut or burn track pads or track bands.
Noxious fumes are harmful if inhaled.

Step 3:
Pull track band (1) off of track pad studs (2). Track
bands are 32" (81 cm) long (8 track pads per track
band).
