20.7 Water cooling (option)

Water cooling is a regularly available option for MK 56. For other chambers it is available via BINDER
Individual Customized Solutions.

The water cooling serves to cool the chamber instead of the air cooling and reduces the heat, which is
emitted to the ambient air during cooling operation.

MK 56, MK / MKT 115, 240:

The water cooling option allows to select between air cooling and water cool-

ing. The water cooling is turned on via the switch (3) in the lateral control panel. When it is turned off, the
air cooling is active.

MK / MKT 720:

With the water cooling option, the chamber always cools with the water cooling.

Retrofitting by the manufacturer is possible: The chamber must be returned to the BINDER factory for
installation.

Water connections

With the optional water cooling the chamber is supplied with cooling water via a freshwater pipe (max.
inlet temperature: 10 °C).

20.8 Object temperature display with flexible Pt 100 temperature sensor (option)

The object temperature display enables the determination of the actual temperature of the charging mate-
rial during the whole process. The object temperature is measured via a flexible Pt100 temperature sen-
sor and can be viewed on the controller display. The sensor top protective tube of the flexible Pt 100 can
be immersed into liquid substances.

The object temperature data is given out together with the data of the temperature controller to the Ether-
net interface as a second measuring channel and can be documented by the APT-COM™ 4 Multi Man-
agement Software (option, chap. 20.1) developed by BINDER.
