Disassembling lithium battery

10.6.1 Stainless steel version with connectors

WARNING
If the time and date are missing when the indicator is switched on, the lithium battery must be
replaced.

Figure 10.6-1 - Disassembling lithium battery

Referring to the previous figure, proceed as follows:

•

Switch the indicator off and disconnect it from the electrical mains.

•

Open the indicator.

•

Remove the digital power supply unit for scale (ref. 1)

•

Remove the lithium battery (ref. 2) being careful not to cause short circuits.

ATTENTION
Take special care to avoid dropping the battery on the motherboard, as it may damage some
parts of the motherboard or the entire board.

•

Replace with a battery identical to the one removed from the equipment (model CR2450).

ATTENTION

Dispose of the battery via separate waste collection either handing it over to the distributor or to
separate waste collection centres.
