4. Place the Pro-Stitcher Lite tray assembly
(see
Parts List, item E)
onto the Gallant carriage and
place the one new longer screw and washer into
the
outside insert
(location circled in the image)
.
Note the position of the longer circled screw
and washer. It goes through an additional layer
of metal bracket requiring it to be longer.
5. Fasten the tray with the five remaining new
screws and washers into the
outside screw
inserts
, where you originally removed the old
screws.
Install the Y-Rack
1. Carefully lay the quilting machine on its left side
as shown
(looking from the front)
.

IMPORTANT:
Take care not to put any undue
weight or pressure on the machine encoder,
which is circled. You may want to carefully
place the two bottom wheels just off the
front edge of the table, with a second person
holding the machine.
2. Remove and discard the four screws, as shown,
from the bottom cover on the right side of the
machine
(the side with the thread tensioner and
thread guides)
. These screws will be replaced
with longer screws.
3. Attach the Y-Rack
(see Parts List, item H)
to
the bottom of the front and rear base plates
with the four new longer screws
(see Parts
List, item I)
. Orient the Y-rack so that the blue
Flexirack is toward the middle of the machine,
while the bolt inserts are toward the outside.
Use a 2.5mm hex wrench to tighten the four
screws.
NOTE:
The four smaller inserts in the Y-rack
are used to fasten it to the machine.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to overtighten the
screws as the base plate inserts can strip
easily.
