User Manual UMAX030541. Version V1 47-116
3.2.7 Object 1010h: Store Parameters
This object supports the saving of parameters in non-volatile memory. In order to avoid
storage of parameters by mistake, storage is only executed when a specific signature is
written to the appropriate sub-index
. The signature is “save”. The “save” action on either
CAN buses will apply to the parameters on both buses.
The signature is a 32-bit unsigned number, composed of the ASCII codes of the signature
characters, according to the following table:
MSB
LSB
e
v
a
s
65h
76h
61h
73h
On reception of the correct signature to an appropriate sub-index, the controller will store
the parameters in non-volatile memory, and then confirm the SDO transmission.
By read access, the object provides information about the module’s saving capabilities.
For all sub-indexes, this value is 1h, indicating that the controller saves parameters on
command.
This means that if power is removed before the Store object is written,
changes to the Object Dictionary will NOT have been saved in the non-volatile
memory and will be lost on the next power cycle.
