Remark If the pins 10 or 15 are used, the following circuit is recommen-
ded (it can also be used for the other pins):
If this circuit is not used, then the pin should be connected via
the switch to GND. The inverting effect of the circuit should be
noted.
Alternatively, logic levels set by software can be transmitted instead of input
levels at the USER I/O interface. The system must be operated from the PC
for this purpose (see the Software description).
A3.2 Printer mode
To use this operating mode, set the PRT operating mode in the operator panel
(SYS
→
IFACE
→
CTRL
→
TTL). If you are using a PC to control the system,
set the TTL-INTERFACE MODE switch to PRINTER (in the TTL-INTERFACE
panel).
The connected unit, e.g. printer, must have a Centronics interface and be ca-
pable of processing printer commands for printers such as the Epson-FX80.
