Setting the centre-tap earth for the analogue audio inputs

The plug-in unit Audio Codec Layer II/III analogue I has four jumpers with
which the centre-tap earth can be set for each channel. FIGURE 3.6 shows
the position of the jumpers. In the factory setting, centre-tap earthing is not sel-
ected.

Switching on the system

After all required interfaces have been connected, the system can be switched
on. The following message appears on the front panel display:

After a few seconds, the main menu appears:

The system is now ready for operation and the first connection can be set up.
