A2.6.2

RS485 bus interface

The RS-485 interface is a bus interface to connect several Codecs in a chain
and makes it possible to control them from a PC (this interface should not be
mistaken for the internal RS485 interface of the Extension Bus that is used to
configure individual plug-in units (PCBs). In the Standard MAGIC ISDN, this
interface is not programmed.

A2.6.3

User I/O interface

The User-I/O interface is compatible with the parallel interface of a PC or prin-
ter. A log printer can thus be connected without the need for adaptation.
