BSL_336 Installation

4.3 AutroSafe Configuration

Create installation file by following the procedure outlined below.

Start AS Configuration Tool

Graphical view opens

File>Open…

Choose configuration file

(example: ThisSite.ac)

"Add Unit(s)" dialogue opens

Right-click the panel in which EAU-321 is installed

Choose "Add…"

"Add Unit(s)" dialogue closes; return to graphical view

Select "Autrocom Serial"

Click "Add"

Select AUTROCOM_SERIAL, Autrocom Serial

Edit properties list to reflect the following:

AutroComPassWord: Local password (9999)

Description: Enter if required

Local Mode Report: Report as communication fault

Serial port on card: Serial port used on EAU-321 for BSL-336 connectivity

Baud rate: 19200

AutroComType Serial: SERIAL_SLIDING_WINDOW

Name: Voyage Data Recorder

View>Operation Zones

Operation Zones dialogue opens

Connect Unit dialogue opens

Right-click topmost Operation Zone

Select "Connect…"

In left pane, select "Autrocom Serial"

In right pane, select "Serial Interface for VDR Unit"

Click "Connect"

Save file

Click "Open"
