Update
The internal programming of the MaxiBAS Diagnostics System, known as the firmware, can
be updated through the
Update application. Firmware updates enhance the performance of
the MaxiBAS applications, typically by adding new tests, expanded vehicle coverage or
enhanced applications.
The device automatically searches for available updates for all of the MaxiBAS components
when it is connected to the Internet. Any updates that are found can be downloaded and
installed on the device. This section describes installing an update to the MaxiBAS
Diagnostics System firmware. A notification message will display if an update is available
when the
Notifications function is enabled in the Settings application (see Notification
Center ).
