Step-by-step Vehicle Selection
This mode of vehicle selection is menu driven. Tap the
Manufacturer
icon on the Vehicle
Menu screen and the Select diagnostic type screen displays. Tap
Manual Selection
.
Select the vehicle information (e.g., brand, model, capacity, engine type, and model year).
Each selection advances you to the next screen. The
ESC
button will bring you back to
the previous screen.

9.2.5 Alternative Vehicle Identification
Occasionally, the tablet may not be able to identify a vehicle. For these vehicles, the user
may perform a generic OBDII or EOBD diagnostic test. See
additional information.
9.3 Diagnostics Screen Layout
After the vehicle information is selected, tap the
Yes
button at the bottom-right corner of the
screen to open the Diagnostic menu page. This section consists of commonly used functions,
including Auto Scan, Control Unit, and more. The available functions vary by vehicle.
