Making e-mail privacy settings
Set an e-mail password and make secrecy settings.

Parental settings menu

[E-mail privacy
setting]

If initial e-mail address setting has not been made, a
settings screen is displayed. Follow the onscreen
instructions to make the initial setting.

Change
password
Set/change password for the folder lock
and secrecy function.
Enter folder unlock password (letters
and numbers, 4 to 16 characters)
→
[OK]
→
Enter same password again
→
[OK]
→
Select secret question
→
[OK]
→
Enter answer to secret question
→
[OK]

Once a password is set, "Change
password" is displayed.
•
If the password for the folder lock is
incorrectly entered 3 times, the secret
question is displayed. Tap [Proceed]
→
Enter the answer
→
[OK] and set a
new password.
Reset
password
Reset the password.
Enter folder unlock password
→
[OK]
→
[Reset]
•
This cannot be selected if no password
is set.
•
Once the password is reset, the folder
lock and secrecy function are
canceled.
Secret
Enable/disable the secrecy function.
Enter password
→
[OK]
•
Use this feature after carefully reading
the displayed description for secret
mode.
•
This cannot be set if no password is
set.
•
No pop-up or other hint will be
displayed for a mistaken password
when either enabling/disabling or
temporarily canceling the secrecy
function.
