Preparing the product for the
child
After purchasing the product and turning it on for the first
time, follow the onscreen instructions to make initial settings
so the child can use the product safely.
During initial settings, a communication test, registration of
parental information (phone number, e-mail, password),
setting of emergency contacts, setting of restrictions,
registration of an au ID, and application usage settings can
be made.
Parental
password
A parental password is used when making
parental settings or when temporarily
canceling restrictions on Contacts and
applications. Setting a password prevents
anyone other than a parent or guardian
from changing settings.
Emergency
contacts
Up to 3 contacts can be registered as
emergency contacts. Emergency contact
1 cannot be left unregistered. As these are
contacts for emergencies, you should
register phone numbers and e-mail
addresses that you are sure contact can
be made with.
When the personal alarm is activated, the
location and taken images are
automatically sent to the emergency
contacts. Also, if the parental password is
forgotten, a cancelation password is sent
to emergency contact 1.
au ID
By setting an au ID, you can use various
services provided by au such as "au
かん
たん決済
(au Simple Payment Service)"
which allows you to purchase applications
available with au
スマートパス
(au Smart
Pass).
