WARNING
CHECK THE ELECTROLYTE LEVEL
ONLY AFTER THE CHARGE.

NEVER LEAVE THE FILLING HOSE
CONNECTED PERMANENTLY TO THE
CAN.
- Ensure the can is filled with distilled water to its
maximum level.
- Connect the filling hose to the can.
- The electrolyte level is correct when the balls in
the indicator stop turning.
- Disconnect the hose from the can and replace
it on top of the battery tray.
MAINTENANCE
The centralised filling system must be serviced once a year respecting the following steps:
- Clean the filters or replace them if necessary. Increase cleaning frequency in case of
premature clogging or reduction in the water flow. Run water in the reverse direction of the
normal flow to flush out all the dirt that could obstruct the filter cone.
- Check the hose for flexibility.
- Check the level indicator caps, ensure the float is mobile. Replace the level indicator caps if
clogged.
BATTERY CLEANING
The battery must be cleaned to prevent formation of salts and current by-pass that could cause
damages to the machine.
Clean the cells with water without removing
the caps.
OUTSIDE STORAGE
A battery that is not used must be stored fully
charged in a clean and dry area, away from
freezing temperatures. The battery can be
stored at ambient temperature of 30° C
without any maintenance.
For outside storage at temperatures below 0°
C, check the electrolyte specific gravity to
prevent freezing point.
WARNING
ONLY USE DISTILLED OR
DEMINERALISED WATER TO FILL THE
BATTERY.
