20. When you select Front Tab, positioning
screen appears. If piece is 1/8" thick or
more you can pre-adjust tab position by
using arrows. Moving line toward right
puts more of tab on bottom of piece.
Moving it to left puts more of tab on
top of piece. Each segment of the line
represents approximately 0.100". Pitch
of Tab is set from this screen. Select
Pitch
.
21. Pitch of tab is distance measured from
top of one tab to top of next tab. This is
done by selecting
Pitch
from
“
Select
option to edit
”
screen. Measure
distance from top of one tab to top of
next tab. In this case, it was 1.630",
then add 0.01" for a total of 1.64".
Enter that number using Number keys
on Control Panel. Then press
SAVE key.
Click BACK when done until you reach
“
Select Tabber Head
”
screen. By stopping
on this screen, you can run job or easily
return to Head that requires adjustment.
22. You are now ready to run. Press RUN key on Control Panel and feed one or two pieces.
Then press STOP key and check tab positioning. If adjustment is required, refer to

in this Section.
