Release Emergency Stop button. Turn Tabber Main Power Switch ON.
Press
Green
Transport Power button. Verify that Feeder is still turned OFF at this time.
Verify that Feeder Interface Cable is attached between Tabber and Feeder.

Proceed by pressing
Operate
soft key to put Tabber in
OPERATE
mode.
Screen changes to indicate

Press
RUN
key on Control Panel to start Tabber Transport. Screen displays Tabber status.
12.
Feed two pieces using Feed Switch on Feeder.
13.
Check positioning of stamp or stamps on second piece. If an adjustment in stamp position
is required, use Head Fine Adjustment Knob to make small corrections to location of
stamp being applied by Head 1. You can refer to section on
“
Fine Tuning
Adjustments
”
for more information.
14.
When you are satisfied with stamp position, open Exit Roller Assembly and adjust Head 1
Stop against Head 1. Close and lock Exit Roller Assembly. Load live stamps in Head and
start applying them.
15.
This completes setup for Head 1 to apply stamps.
IMPORTANT
IF ONLY USING HEAD 1, MAKE SURE THAT HEAD 2 IS DISABLED IN
SOFTWARE. SEE

Set Tabber Transport for desired speed with Speed Control Dial. Then set Feeder Auto-
Manual switch to
Automatic
and press
RUN
key to start running job.
Head 2 Adjusting for Side Tabbing
NOTE: Head 2 only side tabs. Set up Tabber and Feeder to feed media before using this
procedure.
1.
Unlatch Exit Roller Assembly and swing it open.
