SECTION 4-

Programming Tabber

Notes before Programming

Two methods for programming jobs on Tabber:

Automatic

–

Tabber is given tab information and it automatically sets up location of tab

or tabs by automatically measuring piece.

Manual

–

Operator specifies tab positioning.

In either case, some operator interaction to fine tune tab location and feed media through Tabber
may be required.

Here is an explanation of some functions and screens seen when programming a job.

Advanced Soft Key

When

Advanced

soft key is pressed, several

new soft keys are displayed.

Soft keys are:

Control Panel Backlight

Controls Intensity of Control Panel Backlight.
To access Backlight control, screen press

Advanced

key.
