OPERATING TABBER

Rate or speed in pieces per hour.

Number of Pieces that have been run. This can be reset by pressing

CLEAR

on Control Panel before starting job.

Operation of Tabber is the same whether you are tabbing or applying stamps. Refer to the parts
of this section regarding setting up Tabber for the type of application you are performing for
more information.

Exceeding Tabbing Rate

IMPORTANT

MAXIMUM SPEED OF TABBER IS CONTROLLED BY SOFTWARE.
TABBER SPEEDS FOR APPLYING TABS:

SINGLE TABS TO ONE SIDE OF A PIECE

20,000 PIECES PER HOUR;

DOUBLE TABS TO ONE SIDE OF A PIECE

12,000 PIECES PER HOUR

TRIPLE TABS TO ONE SIDE OF A PIECE

8,000 PIECES PER HOUR

EXCEEDING THESE SPEEDS WILL CAUSE TABBER TO STOP.

TAB PLACED ON END OF PIECE IS NOT COUNTED IN THE ABOVE

If you exceed maximum speed of Tabber for
the job you are running,

Run

screen will

change and

Exceeding Tabbing Rate

message will flash for 15 seconds.

After the 15 seconds, if you do not slow down
Tabber, screen at right appears and Tabber will
stop. To restart, reduce speed of Tabber
and press

RUN

button on Control Panel.

If you slow Tabber down during 15-second warning period, it will switch back to

and continue to operate.
